Who We Are

A holistic and integrative studio and practice focused on bringing you home to your body

Mindful Movement

From leaning on the yoga tradition to embracing forms of intuitive movement, I offer hatha, vinyasa and yin yoga based practices to offer balance on and off the mat in person, online, for groups and 1:1 sessions.

Breathwork

A transformative practice derived from ancient traditions where we use the conscious connected breath to access different states or use pranayama for overall wellbeing.

Women’s Health

Living in tune with our natural cycles is an incredibly expansive way of living. It allows us to deepen our self-knowledge, intuition and offers unparalleled insight onto our overall health.

Naturopathy

I believe in the human desire to heal. I believe in our bodies' ability to heal provided we take away the poison and offer ourselves an enviroment where we can heal and thrive. Naturopathic medicine and nutritional therapy are all about bringing the body back to balance by addressing ourselves as a whole; addressing mind, body and soul.

  • “Amira has very gently ushered me into trusting my body again. After a rather tumultuous introduction to motherhood, I felt defeated, depleted and depressed and it was those morning classes with Amira that have shown me a different reality. I hold deep gratitude for Amira as a person and as an instructor - for holding space for me all the way through.”

  • "Thank you so much for an amazing retreat. I truly enjoyed every aspect of it and I appreciate the effort and details put to it from the eye pillows to the music in the classes to the type of scents used. It was my first time meeting you amira but you are an amazing human being. You send out calming energy and you organise one hell of a retreat. Can’t wait for the upcoming one."

Hello, I’m Amira!

I am a 30-something year old mama currently living in Nairobi, Kenya. I am a retired architect, yoga and breathwork facilitator, yoga nidra guide, menstrual cycle coach and a student of Naturopathic medicine. In 2011, I found out that I have a back injury that would turn my life upside down, or shall I say downside up?

After undergoing surgery, I spent 3 years struggling to get my health back. I was physically weak and emotionally wrecked. I felt like I had no control over my life. Due to the amount of medication I was on, my digestive system suffered and this meant inefficient nutrient absorption, almost non-existent bowel movement and well, don’t even get me started on my hormones.

I intuitively took up yoga, privately, in the quiet and darkness of my bedroom at 6:00 am every morning. The practice started bringing me strength so fast and within the year, it was working its magic on me beyond the physical practice.
